Three Ways to Look Younger Without Cosmetic Surgery

Rejuvenating procedures do not always have to involve surgical intervention.  If you are hesitant to go ahead with surgical correction there are some very effective options that can benefit you if you are trying to look younger or enhance your appearance.

First of all, Botox and Xeomin work to relax frown lines and crow's feet.  If you have wrinkles between your brows that now seem to be a permanent fixture, Botox or Xeomin are the perfect solution.  They start working 2 to 10 days and usually last for 3 months or even more in some cases.  Crow's feet are also greatly reduced and the combined effect will give you a refreshed, more relaxed appearance.  In the hands of our trained professionals you will always walk away looking natural and never artificial.

Fillers are another extremely effective option in non-surgical facial rejuvenation.  Fillers work to restore lost facial volume and plump up any sagging areas that naturally occur from a loss in facial fat as we age.  Fillers will reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles and folds and can address many common concerns without any surgical intervention.  We use the Belotero line of fillers with different consistencies available to smooth lines or plump up areas with lost volume.  These are commonly used in cheeks, lips, chin, and nasolabial folds.  You may have some swelling, redness, or slight bruising after the injection but this should subside quickly and can be minimized with concealer.  The fillers will typically last from 9 to 18 months.

A third option for those who are not ready for surgical correction, and even for those who are, is medical-grade skin care products.  At Evolution Plastic Surgery Clinic we carry the Obagi and Pro-Derm lines.  Elastiderm Eye Cream is a very popular product at the clinic that has been consistently reported in clinical studies to improve the appearance of crepey skin, improve firmness and improve fine lines and wrinkles.  Other products we love include the Pro-Derm Stem Youth line.   The Pro-Derm line contains active ingredients and the Stem Youth Line is made with plant stem cells derived from apple and argan.  Day cream, night cream, serum and tissue mask are available.
